Welcome
If you are looking for a church to call home or curious to see what we are all about then let me first put your mind at rest and explain we are just ordinary people like you.
As soon as you walk through the doors you will see that the people you meet are genuine and real. We have all come from humble beginnings and we have one thing in common. That is we are real people and we were born to serve a Real God.
God didn’t just save you from something, He saved you for something! You were created in the image of God with a unique purpose. Often the thing He saves you from is connected to the thing He wants to use you for. Purpose isn’t something we create or choose, it’s something we discover in the context of community. Discovering your kingdom purpose is a journey and we’re committed to help you every step of the way.
Warragul Christian Church was planted by Pakenham Christian Church on February 3rd 2019. Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 “I will build My Church and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it.” At WCC God is building our Church.

Our motto is simple:
“We love God, we love people and we trust God to do the rest.”

Safety

All our Childrens and Youth Leaders have completed their Safe Churches Training received by our Safety Officers Representatives.
Coronavirus Information
It has been a challenge for all during this season of restrictions and lockdowns: for individuals, families, businesses, organizations, governments and also Churches. It has been an important time to be wise and practical as Churches, as well as prayerful.
Pakenham and Warragul Christian Churches both have a COVID-Safe Plan. The Pastors and the Board receive regular updates from State and Federal Governments as well as receiving updates from the Australian Christian Churches. This has been very much appreciated.
During lockdowns where Churches haven’t been permitted to meet physically, the Church has adapted to holding online Sunday services, fellowship and prayer on Zoom which has been most beneficial. At the time of writing physical services have re-commenced with restrictions and density limits.
Please note that Sundays 10:00am, online Pakenham and Warragul Christian Church services continue weekly on YouTube (Even when the Churches are holding physical services). Please type in ‘Pakenham Christian Church’ and the channel with appear with the weekly services.
Current restrictions apply to Church services which are subject to change as to whether there is an implementation of or easing of restrictions. Social distancing applies as well as density limits for the Church venues. The QR system is a very important method of signing into Church services with a mobile phone. Signing in with the QR system is mandatory in Victoria in Churches, supermarkets etc. Masks have been worn indoors in Church services when restrictions have required so.
Together we can all do the right thing and help make Victoria a safer place during this pandemic.
